speakingTalks I give
I'm a frequent keynote speaker and AI evangelist. I've keynoted hospice and palliative care conferences, lectured on AI ethics at a college of medicine, and taught AI basics to public-school educators. Every talk is built on systems I've actually shipped, not slideware. If one of these fits your event, or you want a variation for your audience, get in touch.
Decoding AI: What It Actually Is, and How to Use It Responsibly
for Executives, boards, clinicians, educators, and non-technical teams · 30–60 min keynote
My most-requested keynote. A clear, jargon-free tour of what modern AI can and
can’t do: grounded in real systems, honest about the risks, and aimed at helping
leaders make practical, ethical decisions. Tailored for the audience in the
room, from hospice and palliative care to public education.
Building Agentic AI in Production: Lessons from the Trenches
for Engineering teams, technical leaders, AI practitioners · 30–45 min
The technical talk: what it actually takes to ship multi-agent systems that
enterprises trust. Model routing for cost and privacy, MCP-exposed retrieval
over large corpora, citation discipline, evaluation, and the architectural
decisions that separate a demo from a dependable pipeline. This website, and the
public AWS infrastructure under it, is a running example.
The Ethics of Artificial Intelligence
for Clinical, academic, and executive audiences · 45–60 min lecture
Delivered for the UAMS College of Medicine AI Lecture Series and adaptable to
any organization wrestling with where AI belongs. Bias, data governance,
accountability, and the human-in-the-loop, framed by someone who both builds
these systems and studies their consequences.
